Refund Policy

The Short Version
All sales are final. Due to the instant-delivery digital nature of our product, we cannot offer refunds once your documents are generated.
However, we offer a free preview of your generated documents before you pay, so you can see exactly what you'll receive.
Why We Don't Offer Refunds
ShipPolicy delivers a digital product instantly:
- Your customized legal documents are generated immediately upon payment
- Documents are instantly hosted at your custom subdomain
- You receive immediate access to download your files
- The product cannot be "returned" like a physical item
Once you've received and viewed your generated documents, the service has been fully delivered.

See Before You Buy
We believe in transparency. That's why we let you preview your complete generated documents before making any payment. You'll see exactly what your Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Support page will contain.
If the preview doesn't meet your needs, simply don't complete the purchase. No pressure, no tricks.
Exceptions We May Consider
While our policy is all sales final, we may consider exceptions in rare circumstances:
Duplicate Purchase
If you accidentally purchased twice for the same app, contact us within 24 hours for a refund on the duplicate.
Technical Failure
If our system failed to generate or deliver your documents due to a technical error on our end, contact us immediately.
Charged But No Documents
If you were charged but never received your documents or access, we'll make it right — either by delivering your documents or issuing a refund.
What We Cannot Refund
We cannot process refunds for:
- "I changed my mind" — please use the preview feature before purchasing
- "I don't need it anymore" — documents are generated instantly and cannot be un-generated
- "My app was rejected for other reasons" — ShipPolicy generates document templates, but cannot guarantee App Store approval (which depends on many factors)
- "My lawyer said something different" — our documents are templates, and we recommend attorney review for complex situations
- "I entered wrong information" — you can re-purchase for a different app at the standard price
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you qualify for an exception:
- Email us at support@shippolicy.app
- Include your purchase email address and order details
- Describe the issue clearly
- We'll respond within 1-2 business days
Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase.
Hosting Renewals
Your initial purchase includes 1 year of document hosting. After that:
- Renewals are $9/year
- Renewals are non-refundable once processed
- If you don't want to renew, simply don't renew — we don't auto-bill
- You can always download and self-host your documents instead
A Note on Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Chargebacks are intended for fraudulent transactions, not buyer's remorse.
Filing a chargeback for a legitimately delivered digital product may result in:
- Termination of your document hosting
- Being banned from future purchases
- Us disputing the chargeback with documentation of delivery
We're reasonable people. If there's a legitimate issue, email us first — we'll work it out.
